1. Scope

This policy applies to the domain clashzip.com and all pages under its language subdirectories, including the homepage, download page, tutorials, protocol reference, glossary, help center, and articles section. Once you follow a link from this site to a third-party website or app store, data handling is governed by that third party's own privacy terms, not this policy.

2. Data We Collect

This site does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other directly identifying personal information. Every feature on the site can be used in full without logging in or filling out any form. Specifically:

• Browsing pages, reading tutorials and articles: generates no actively submitted data.
• Clicking a download button: only triggers a file download or redirect; this site does not record the identity of anyone downloading.
• Tag filtering, collapsible panels, and similar interactions: all handled locally in the browser; no action log is sent back to the server.

The server generates a standard access log for each request (request time, request path, status code, the necessary portion of the source IP). This log is used solely for troubleshooting and mitigating abnormal traffic, is automatically rotated and purged on a routine cycle, and is never used to build user profiles.

3. Visit Statistics

To understand how traffic is distributed across pages and to improve documentation structure, this site runs a self-hosted analytics component. Statistical data is stored on servers under this site's own control and is never sold or shared with any advertising platform. The data points collected are limited to: page path visited, visit time, browser type and screen size bucket, and referring page. IP addresses are truncated and anonymized before being stored and cannot be traced back to a specific individual. Results are only ever reviewed in aggregate form (for example, daily visit counts for a given page).

4. Cookies and Local Storage

The site's own pages do not set any cookies used for cross-site tracking. Browser-side storage is used as follows:

• The analytics component may write an identifying cookie used only to distinguish repeat visits; its value is random, contains no personal information, and is removed by clearing browser data.
• Some pages record the currently selected tab state in the URL hash; this information exists only in the address bar and is never written to storage.
• localStorage is not used to store any data tied to a visitor's identity.

Disabling cookies does not affect the normal use of any feature on this site.

5. Third-Party Links

The download page and articles contain links to third-party destinations such as app stores and client vendor websites. Once you click one of these links, page loading, download distribution, and data handling are entirely the responsibility of that third party. After following a link, we recommend checking the browser address bar to confirm you have landed on the official page or official store listing for the target client before proceeding further. This site makes no guarantee regarding the content changes or availability of third-party pages.

This policy may be updated as site features change or relevant regulations evolve. Updated versions will be published directly on this page, with the "Last updated" month at the top revised accordingly; no separate individual notice will be sent.
